We end each day with a lesson taught by our staff, seminary professors, and local pastors. Topics cover poverty discipleship, culture, reconciliation and long-term community development.
Most of us rarely take time to stop and have a conversation with someone who is homeless. We often have ill-informed presuppositions and can contribute to their hurt in our attempts to help. We take groups down to “tent city” to talk to the homeless, with no agenda but to be present in their world for a few hours.
